Well really, I'm going to the beach, and I am planning some healthy eating and activities while there.
I am bringing the meal for tomorrow night (we're going with others) which will keep me in my calorie range. I am also bringing breakfast and lunch items for Saturday, and I've checked out the restaurant offerings, so I already know what my Saturday evening dinner will be. Sunday morning and lunchtime, before we leave, should be similar to the day before. I am packing fruits and vegetables as snacks, have whole grain pasta for the Stroganoff (made with nonfat yogurt), and have otherwise tried to plan out everything, so no matter what else my cousins bring, I'll have some satisfying and healthy options.
The beach is a great place to walk at my own speed, and my husband, not normally a walker, loves to walk on the beach, so I will have a companion. I am going to bring my timer and already know the pace I should keep up, so I can get my exercise in.
It's going to be great!
