Why am I not losing now!

I walked, exercised and I am eating the right foods. I feel stressed about losing the weight. Stress can keep me from losing weight. I crave sweets and before I was feeling full. What happened to bring this on? I am emotional eater and eat when stressed. I am tracking every day. I am not eating too much but feeling a little depressed. I am trying to figure this out. I am not losing but not gaining either. What should I do?

    whenever I hit a plateau I indulged in extra healthy fat food for a day (nuts, dark chocolate, high fat protein bars/granola bars) and upped my calories by about 500 for the day....I swear it worked everytime! Back to norm the next day and down a lb 2 days later! Good luck though - I know it is frustrating!

    I think you might be on a plateau, but you may not be getting enough calories. Your body may think it needs to be in starvation mode. I would try eating at the higher side of your range, and also make sure you are getting enough protein, if you are doing a lot of exercise.

    Water? drink more water - that can make a difference

And meditate. Or at least spend 5 minutes just taking in deep breaths and then letting them out slowly.

Have you read The 4 day win or the Joy Diet by Martha Beck? She writes for O magazine and she's one of my favorite writers on the diet/body/mind/thing

    Hang in there. Are you actually eating enough? Just be patient with yourself and this slooooow process.

    You could be at a plateau. You might try eating either lower fat or lower carb in your calorie count. Hang in there. That scale will move.

    Hang in there. Look at what you are doing. Go back to basics and for the most part start doing everything like you're a newbie.

Or maybe you have just hit a "set-point" and you will just need to find something different to do to break through.
