Maybe this isn't the case for other people, but I spend my life working toward something. I graduated, went back for my MBA, now I'm taking this exam tomorrow. And then? And then I'm going to complete the Live Fit 12 week trainer I started twice before. I'm on a roll following through on things, so I'd like to get that under my belt.
There's a pair of beautiful red finches outside my window right now. Oh sorry, did I mention I'm easily distracted?
To prepare for my exam tomorrow, I decided to stop cramming. If it's not in there by now, a few more hours won't change it. Instead, I spent some time putting my 4 week plan together. Actually, it's already together, I just had to copy it into my handy dandy spreadsheet and figure out what exercises to swap, since I'm doing this at home. The plan is in black and white and I completed Day 1. Here's how it went:
Chest and Triceps - complete 3 sets of 12 repititions with one minute rest in between.
Bench press, 70#
Dumbbell flyes, 15# each
Narrow pushups (knees)
Standing overhead tricep extensions, 15# (add 5# next time)
Bent over tricep kickbacks, 15#
I'm glad I decided not to wait another day.
