Sticking to my plan and even walked for 1/2 hr. this morning. Drinking lots of water too. Still no soda! Only time I am even tempted is in the evening when my head hurts from too little caffine. Soooo...I am doing pretty good. Trying to keep on keeping on. Really talking to myself about why I want to eat. Is it emotional, physical, etc... Most of the time, I think it is either emotional (due to a bad relationship) or being bored. So I am working on my thinking in these areas.

    Marianne, it isn't the caffeine really, but just sodas. I still have coffee in the morning. Just don't drink soda and don't care for tea without sugar. (lots of sugar) So, I avoid tea as well.

    wow- you are doing great- have you given up all caffeine or just at night?

I like ice coffee but I also like tea w/o sugar- sometimes splenda tastes good.
There is an arizona tea that is diet with blueberries that tastes good.
Its different- you would have to adjust your taste buds a little.

    Gayemc, I don't like hot tea and cold tea without sugar is a sacrilege. I am from the south where tea is almost pure sugar.

    One day at a time. Have you thought about having some tea in the afternoon/evening to help with the caffeine headaches?
