Breakfast Day 9...
1/2 local sausage and 2 local hardboiled eggs.
Lunch was a last minute before work throw together that turned out amazing:
Boston lettuce torn up loosely in a glass container
1/2 an avocado cubed and tossed in
A sprinkling of spicy macademia oil
A sprinkling of sesame oil
A small drizzle of local honey
A small handful of Greek olives
A few dashes of one of my favorite ghost pepper hot sauces
And two chicken tenderloins warmed up and hand pulled into bite sized pieces
SO GOOD! I forgot to add tomato but that would have been a great addition, as would grated carrots. Next time. :)
Had three mandarin oranges and an apple with a tablespoon of almond butter for snacks.
And LOTS OF WATER ALL DAY!
Dinner was another hubs night:
Steamed broccoli with salt, pepper, and real butter
Mashed sweet potato for me; rice for him
Shrimp sauteed in olive oil, coconut milk, serrano peppers, and red onions.
I also got two new flavors of the "Go Raw" raw food cookies: chocolate and pizza flavors. Wow, yum! Am thinking of looking on Amazon for bulk boxes to save money. They are $3.99 to $4.99 for a 3 oz bag, which isn't the cheapest. A bag has 3 servings, so if you look at it that way it's not as bad, and I'm sure you aren't supposed to eat them everyday anyway, right? Then again, they are supposedly pretty healthy. Hmm...ignorance is bliss?
