Working out has been integrated into my regular schedule for about 2 years now... that has become easy part of the equation for me..
but eating right is a bigger challenge.. I started to track my food in SP from Aug 2012 and it has been shocking to know that I am eating way for than I should.
I have food triggers that I am consciously not aware of.. being Indian and used a lot of flavour in food .. and many different cusines makes food eating and exciting experience for me.. and it kind of makes all my effort working out go drown the drain.. since there is seldom significant weight loss..
ahhh.. why is that number on scale so important.. :(
I've been drifting on and off controlling my diet and from Apr 1st 2013 I made a firm resolve to track food everyday..
the first week was far more disappointing than I imagined since I went over 2000 kcals on most of the days.
But this week there is a new ray of hope in my approach towards food.. I haven't deprived myself of "all bad things" but at the same time in 3 out of 4 days this week sofar I have managed to to stay in my range..
I know that this a far cry from what I need to accomplish but I have a good feeling this time.. This time I may have got a hang of controlling my diet.. :)
Just going to keep my faith up.. and fingers crossed and get going with the week one day at a time..
Or must I say one meal a time :)
