Do You Have the Strength To...

Thursday, April 11, 2013

A friendship is with a person. A person is worth more to me than saying "I am Right" when I know I am. It is most important to me to say, "I am sorry, please accept my apology".

I'd rather keep the friendship with a friend, than to "right" and lonely. I know I am not perfect, that I make mistakes. So in turn, I will allow my valued friend to be imperfect to. Because their friendship is too priceless to be tossed away over something small.

I truly value my friends!

This is been a tough one for me. Especially with the people that I should remember it with. Those that I love the most are the most forgiving so I tend to push them the farthest when I either think I am or at least wish I were right.
But I am learning.
Thank you for those very wise words.

Thank you for your wise words. It is easier to practice with my closest friends to be honest with you though I am trying to broaden my horizons to people beyond my comfort zone because I believe that is what the Lord would want. I do have trust issues and do not overextend myself with people I don't know very well.

You a truly a wonderful friend!
Love you,

Beautifully said! I have several friends that we share more than 30 years of ups, downs, deaths, births, grandchildren & disagreements
But we all value our friendship relationship. Thank you for sharing!

I find that it's best not to expect too much out of other people.
