Good news/bad news

Thursday, April 11, 2013

I am still on track. I have been really trying to track my food, make sure I wear my pedometer and stay away from junk food. I'm doing pretty well.

The good news is that my clothes are much more loose. I can feel the difference. I have been wearing my "fat" pants and they are now kind of baggy and will soon be unwearable (another 5 lbs or so). This makes me happy.

The scale is the bad news. It shows nothing. Up a half a pound, down half a pound and then back up the same. No difference in a couple of weeks. Very frustrating.

I'm not giving up and I know that one of these days, that darn scale will show a significant drop. I wish it were every week, but I'll take the baggy pants any day!!

The scale is a nasty thing! Non scale victories are much better. I keep looking at the scale and it has not been my friend for a while.

Staying away from junkfood is soooo tough these days, doesn't help that hubby brings the stuff home all the time. Just have to be strong

I think scales lie. It is how my clothes fit and how I feel that really measures my success.

Hard to stay motivated when the scale doesn't move, but your clothes becoming baggy is a sure sign that something good is happening. A non-scale victory!!!

Yep...hang on and just make some small adjustments here and there until things kick back in for you on the scale.

emoticon on your accomplishment. As far as the scale, that's why about 6 weeks ago I changed my tracker to exercise minutes and I am happy when the numbers go UP! I have weighed myself once in 6 weeks and I am okay with that since I am walking more and more. The best to you with all your SP and again, congrats on the pants issue. Love, Chelsea

Being stuck isn't fun, but I too know that persistence pays off. I'm counting on it.

Good luck. emoticon
