being courageous

Courage is grace under pressure. " Ernest Hemingway

Think your just average that you never do anything exciting. Well your wrong.

We are often very courageous creatures and don't even know it. It doesn't take saving someone from a burning building to be courageous.

Right now my step mother-in-law visiting her husband every day at the hospital. He is fighting lung cancer and she is fighting a loosing battle to hold on to him. The whole family is praying for a miracle. That is courage.

Courage is getting up in the morning when you don't want to. It's going to the gym for the first time or trying out a new exercise . Is writing a blog every morning at 4 am with the hopes of someone liking it.

Courage is going to work every morning when your co workers ignore you. Courage is eating vegetables and trying new fruits just because it is good for you. Courage is asking someone to sit with you when you are alone or when they are.

Courage is standing up to the office bully . Courage is standing up in a meeting and speaking. Courage is going to work every day when you know there is a good chance you may not have a job tomorrow,

Thank You God for giving us grace and courage to make it through the day. There are many everyday heroes among us . Let's have the courage to thank them when we see it.

Jo , you are very courageous - everyday you get up write a blog that requires research but most of all it comes from your heart and your experiences in life , you go to work everyday with two selfish individuals and yet you are never sour. You are my Hero , Jo !! Thanks - Karen emoticon emoticon

Thanks I didn't think of courage in all these ways. Guess I have courage where most times I think I am pretty spineless. Thanks amidst the tears partially from this, partially from frustration at not sleeping and pain.
HUGS you are a great person.

You are right there are a lot of very courageous people in the world and I am sure you are one of them as well. I hope your FIL is able to either get better or pass quickly.

I try to thank those who I work with or those who help me do my job better on a regular basis.
I also understand it takes courage to make wise food choices when we are out with friends and family so they understand we are serious about our lifestyle change.

Have an excellent day today emoticon
