I was at six flags for the second time this week today, we walked around the park all morning once again. I like the fact that you have to walk so much to get to the rides and such around the park because you don't even realize that you are actually walking for miles and miles through out the day and you think you are having a great time doing it....until you get home and when you sit down your legs are like ( if you move I will kill you lady)
I have to admit with my diabetes and everything that I do have a price to pay every time I am overly active but I have to say the smile that I get to see on my sons face when he gets to go all over the park and have fun on all the rides makes it worth it.
Also I am working out and getting my fitness in without having to sweat it out in the gym six days a week.
This friday we plan to go to the zoo and that will mean a bunch more walking for me before I start the weekend of my 10 hour shifts of walking the whole night at my job, One thing I have to be thankful for is the fact that I can walk still at all. I have been through a lot with my sickness and a bunch of people I know have not been as lucky as I have with this condition so with every muscle cramp I get or tired afternoon I have I will be thankful for the fact that my legs still work and I was able to get threw a few more miles this week than I could last.

You are definitely getting your exercise this week! I can remember when my husband and I took our girls to various amusement parks and how much walking there was. I would never be able to do that today! emoticon
