Week 15 - BLC21 End Results and New Plan

Wednesday, April 10, 2013

Down another 0.6lbs. So for this round I lost a total of 4.4lbs. I'm happy that I lost and I'm out of the 150's and 2.4lbs to go until my goal. Iím still striving to hit goal by the end of April.

FINAL MEASUREMENTS
Weight: -4.4lbs
Chest: -1
Bicep: -.25
Waist: -0.5
Hips: -1.25
Thigh: -0.5

I'm going to shift my focus from calorie counting to food group tracking. My goal for each day is to get in
Grains - 6oz
Veggies - 2.5c
Fruits - 1.5c
Dairy - 3c
Protein - 5oz
Physical activity - it says 150 minutes each week but I'm usually over 400 anyway.

I got this information off of the choosemyplate website www.choosemyplate
.gov/supertracker-tools/da
ily-food-plans.html
. Itís the plan for 1800 calories for adults. So itís still calorie counting in a way and I will still be tracking my food into spark. I think will help me have a more balanced meal then filling up my calorie range with empty calories or being more carbs heavy then fruits and veggies heavy. It will probably take me a few weeks to really get the hang of it, but I'll make it.

I'm also working on lifting heavier weights. After I finish my strength training, I don't feel like I've stretched myself enough. So it's time to increase my weight and even do some super sets or drop sets. Just something different.

I just wanted to thank my Navy Ninjas for all of their support throughout this round. I look forward to seeing you all in BLC22. Hopefully, Iíll be in floater status. I guess it just depends on how well I do on the cruise.

You set a great example with your strategic focus and sensible planning! Can't you just see it in your imagination, how great you will feel when you are at goal, knowing you worked so hard and accomplished it!! I am really proud of you and excited to be cheering for your progress!

I am on a chat thread with women in my older age group, to keep up with each other losing a pound per week and reporting in. I am determined to lose five more pounds before the next BLC round. THEN I still have a long long way to go, but it's a journey.....I won't quit!
