The only constant is change...

So busy lately, sometimes I think I am running on auto-pilot. We are moving from McHenry in late April/early May, back to Downers Grove. We enjoyed a change of pace for the past 2.5 years, living in the NW suburbs, but we both feel it's time to move on (and back to civilization, so to speak).

Having panic attacks thinking how much needs to be done, and I will be traveling for work all next week! Yikes. Fortunately for us, we are moving back to our home that we had rented out to a tenant for years, and we are leaving a home where we were tenants. No one is moving into the house we're leaving, so really, there is no huge time crunch on either end, although we'd like to avoid paying another month's rent in the McHenry house.

Health-wise, I am doing ok except for the stress. The move, new job role, long commute, and other factors are giving me bad neck/shoulder pain and headaches. I try to manage through breathing techniques, and yoga when I have time (time, what is that?!?). But I still have a lot of days when I'd just like to stay in bed and pull the covers up and forget all the things on my to-do list!

I work out 4-5 days a week now. At work I will try to fit in my early morning workout as well as a mid-day exercise class (yoga or zumba usually) 2x a week. So my activity level is high, and my eating has been very good. You'd think I'd be losing weight like crazy, but I think I am in the muscle-building stage so the pounds aren't coming off as much. My muscle tone is improving greatly...I may even be wearing sleeveless tops this summer! emoticon

Wow, you sure are busy! I wonder the same thing about your commute. Hopefully it will be shorter.

Good for you & your workout schedule! emoticon

Sounds like a lot on your plate. Will moving back ease your commute some?

    Keep pushing forward.
