I've gained like 10 lbs since making a new years resolution at the beginning of this year to lose weight. So, I came back to SP on April 1st and listed some goals in my previous blog post, all of which I have not really succeeded at since recommitting to said goals. However, since yesterday, I've been doing really good health wise and am trying really hard to stay disciplined with my eating so I can start losing weight again.

I'm focusing on my yearnings for fashion instead of eating. I want to wear stylish clothing and while I realize I could do that now, I feel that I need to be a smaller size in order to be fashionable. I also don't want to buy clothes that I'm not going to fit in 3 weeks later. Thinking about all of the numerous wardrobe possibilities and browsing through clothing retailer offerings online is really helping me to stay on track and resist the cravings. Also, my salary requires me to be a budget shopper which requires more time. In this case, it's a good thing!

Yeah, I think I've put on some weight since the new year too--despite the best intentions of my New Year's resolutions.

Spring is on the way though. So that means more outdoor activities and cheaper produce at the store!

Clothing is a motivatation for me too. I know I can't grow any taller, but I can lose some weight. :)

Ah I'm SOOO with you on the fashion front! I feel like I am a fashionista waiting to emerge haha I always look through beautiful outfits that I would love to put together, but unfortunately they only look good on slim people. I think it is important to dress to impress even whilst we are losing weight, but just like you I don't want to spend money on the clothes I REALLY want if I'm not going to be able to fit them in a month or two.

We can do it. I have even bought an inspiration dress which I WILL fit into this summer. It's about 2 sizes too small at the moment, but it's my motivation to get to goal so I can fit into it and not have wasted money! Good luck emoticon
