I found 65 socks of my daughters dirty socks !!!!

Tuesday, April 09, 2013

65 socks .. yes I found dirty socks under my 10 yr olds bed ..... she thinks this is funny .... I however don't. Today I went in to help her clean up her room and pack up winter clothes , we did her dresser , closet , under her bed. Everything is cleaned up and she has room to move int here.. and nothing is hiding under the bed anymore.
I cleaned up the living room , and swept the floors in the living room , hall and porch. Also did the dishes, started the dishwasher, and doing laundry now.
I had a meeting with Gabe's DR today and stopped and seen my sister and my baby niece she so cute. Gabe is doing well, he had another friend kill herself yesterday, this one he has only have contact with through Facebook and phone seeing she lived in NY now and We are still North of Pittsburgh. Gabe is not ready to talk bout it yet.
I cut up strawberries for tomorrow dessert... and I think something with rice for dinner.
Night all keep sparking

Wow, 65 dirty socks? How did she manage to hide them without you not noticing she has less socks unless she has hundreds of them, hehe. I hate socks and stockings, they all look the same and when it's laundry day where there are several pairs with almost same colours, it's disaster to figure out which one is the correct pair and sometimes, there's missing half LOL

And I thought my daughter (4 years old) had a lot of socks. She has an obsession with them - and she likes to take them off and shove them "beside" her bed - next to her doll house. She likes to change her socks 2-3 times a day. Too funny!

OMG . . . my DD is 17 and thinks that her dresser must be under the bed. **SIGH** It is tough, but keep after your DD. That's all you can do.

I used to buy bags of matching socks for my boys. They each had a different color and they could always find a matching pair.

No we haven't been buying her new socks my Mother in law send all kinds of crazy socks to her all the time.
My kids are in the trend where ya don't match your socks .. so I didn't even know they were missing. Now she has two full drawers of socks.... this kiddo is goofy.
