I would like to thank the spark members who responded to my blog yesterday. Because of them I have better and more useful information about my condition. Because of their responses I now have more tools to help deal with my tinnitus. I have learned that tinnitus can be part of a cycle that is hard to break. Tinnitus-depression-sleep problems-stress. So what I am trying to do is avoid depression, decrease my stress and improve my sleep pattern. So far I am doing well with the sleep pattern and stress. And the information helps with the depression. Knowing more about the tinnitus both decreases the stress/anxiety and depression. One member also gave a link to an interesting web site where there were examples of sounds that are caused by tinnitus. When I played 'shriek buzzing' it hit home on my tinnitus but afterwards I was free of the tinnitus for about 10-15 minutes ~ weird!
