Craving Crazy!

I went cold-turkey with sodas on Monday, January 29th. Since then I really haven't had any problems at all. I had a few headaches and couple of grouchy days in the beginning, but since then, no real problems. That is until now.

For the last few days, I have been having the most ridiculously strong cravings for soda. I just really, really want a soda. I don't know why, after nearly 3 months I would suddenly have a craving out of the blue. As much as I try to focus on other things, I just keep going back to sodas. I keep telling myself, wait a half hour, it'll go away. But it's been 3 days!

I'm wondering, should I give in and kill the craving, or will that just make the craving worse? emoticon emoticon

    Stay strong! Ask your body (out loud if you can) "If it wasn't soda that you need, what would it be?" Magically your body will (like a tantrumming child) demand something else. And if this something else is not a good choice either, then repeat the question... until your body (that tantrumming child... remember?) will eventually tell you that it wants something healthy... perhaps some water, perhaps a walk outside, perhaps a word with a friend...

    It really is magic....
