Non Scale Markers

This is my assignment today, write about some non-scale markers of success. I much prefer tangible markers like the needle ont scale moving downward, but I know from experience these do not always come in a logical orderly action-reaction kind of way. sometimes I am "perfect" and the scale still does not move, or worse, moves in the wrong direction. So, what are some other ways I can gauge success? Here is my list:

I look forward to my daily walk and even choose to take a longer route
My knees hurt less often
I am not craving sugary treats
I am able to wait for my meals rather than snacking all day
I'm making healthy choices when we eat out, which is often
I have more energy during the day

I wish I could say my clothes feel looser or I have started getting compliments, but alas, that is still a ways off. All I can do is focus on the good changes and keep on keeping on.

    If you keep making healthy choices, those compliments and loose fitting clothes will come sooner than you think. I like your positive attitude. Keep it going - this is half the battle!
