Lenten follow up...

So I did the whole 40 days with no Coke/Diet Coke (and Pepsi's)...and I've still not had any over a week later.

The lots of water is working well, altho I do allow my self some Root Beer, or Ginger Ale once in awhile.

  Well done. It's always interesting to challenge oneself and one's beliefs about what we 'have' to have.

On a more prosaic note, dropping a few things such as a Coke or Pepsi on a regular basis provide a really solid base for building an ever healthier lifestyle. It sounds as though your Lenten practice served you well in several ways.
