So my weight has dropped a little. I've been really racking up the milage this month however and expect to be in the 100's soon. I'm trying something new this month though. I weighed myself at the beginning of the month, and I've made the decision not to weigh myself for an entire month.
In that month, I am going to try to run as much as possible, eat right, and get enough rest in the form of both sleep and rest days.
My cardio is awesome right now. In the 5 runs that I've ran this month, I already ran further than the 7 runs I did in March.
My wife has backed out of doing the mother's day 5k and we also found out that we can't even do the family 10 k in June. Both are disappointing, but I'm moving on.
I found out I have something to do for work a day before the June 10k race... and I'll end up being about a 12 hour drive away. Not worth it IMO. I am thinking about a half marathon in July though...
We still have a lot of ice and snow here, so I'm itching to get outside and run soon. The treadmill has been brutal, but I'm using it. Running on a treadmill for 2+ hours is a mental workout!
