Today, I promise I will not quit.
I pledge that no matter, how many ups and downs I pass through, I will continue on my journey.
I pledge to make a NEW START today, and forgive myself for my past, and to stop being so critical of myself.
I pledge to take control of myself, to stop making excuses, and stop blaming other people or situations.
I pledge to treat myself as I would my best friend, because that is who I am.
I pledge to stay in the race and to be a WINNER!

Will you blog and post the Never Quit Pledge, today/soon?

(many of my BL team are taking this pledge - I took it in the past but never hurts to refresh)

Yes, today is all we have, my friend. We can be here now and take care of the tasks of today...or we can get lost in "someday." I also choose your path. Thank you for the blog!

01/01/2001 I took this pledge ... and I've never looked back.

At the time, I was 300 pounds and raising a child (as a single Mom) who tried to kill me on numerous occasions. Life was tough. I did not quit. Over the years, life has gotten worse on several different occasions. Each time, I've had the thought to give up. But what if I do? What benefit will I gain? I really won't. I may regain some weight during the tough times, but I will not give up! I will not quit! I'm worth sooooo much more!

I hope you have the courage to hold on to your pledge. YOU are sooooooo worth the effort it takes to make this a lifelong commitment!
