Finding the time to exercise has become increasingly difficult. My daughter & her family have been living with me for quite some time. I watch their children on Tuesday and Thursday evenings while she is at school and he is at work. Monday nights I'm just too tired and it seems like there is something going on the other evenings that keep me away from the gym or the DVDs. Plus, my other daughter just started a new job and is in the process of a divorce with a husband who does not spend nearly enough time with his children which means I'll be watching them too.
However, I am determined that April is the month that I remember to take time for myself. I am going to the gym Monday, Wednesday & Friday nights and I am going to walk at least twice a day at work. One of my co-workers and I are trying for 15 minutes on each break and half an hour on our lunch time, but we have not been successful except for one time to get in all three. I AM going to do this and then add some time on the weekends too.
The clock and I will be friends and my needs will have to come first, even though that feels very selfish.
