Hello everyone! Photo Blog time....
April 3rd's photo words were: Where You Stand
This was a hard one for me. I knew what I was thinking, but how do you put it into a photo?!!?
I picked this picture to represent my faith, my religion, how I'm proud to be a Catholic! I love God and turn to him all the time! I teach my children to do the same. I'm very proud of my two cubs and the faith they have!
This is a picture of a wall I did in one of my rooms. It says "Faith is not believing God can; it's knowing He will." At that time, it was the playroom / office. Now it's my youngest cub's room. He wanted to paint his walls yellow, but kept this saying I wrote on the wall.
The three pictures near the word "Faith" are my cubs. The highest picture is my oldest cub when he 1st started alter serving. The middle picture is both of my cubs when they alter served at their Uncle's wedding, and the last one is my youngest cub when he made his 1st communion. Now that it's my youngest son's room, and he's older, we switched that bottom picture to his 1st time alter serving (you have to be going into 4th grade to alter serve, in our church). On the other wall is the poem "Footprints in the Sand".
April 4th's photo words were: Brand New...
This is a picture of the very first time my Lilac tree bloomed! My neighbor gave me some twigs from hers. It took two years before I got these, and there were just like 4 flowers, but I was SO excited!!! Last year I got a whole bunch! But I'm curious for this season. Last season we moved her from the back yard to the front. Looks better and she'll look great if she does bloom... fingers crossed! hee hee.
April 5th's Photo Words were: Unlikely Pair...
This is a picture of my husband / Papabear and my Frosty! They are an unlikely pair because my husband "pretends" to hate Frosty! hee hee. He says sometimes he thinks I love Frosty more then him! Oh, come on!!! Frosty is my son, so it's a totally different "love", hee hee. I love them both VERY much and in different ways... hee hee.
April 6th's Photo words were: Morning Light
This is a picture of the morning sun coming through the trees across the street and shining on my beautiful "Spring looking" tree in my front yard.
I just had to post this picture too. It's not a Morning Sunrise, but an evening sunset (one night driving home). But it looks so beautiful with the sun's orange glow and the cool looking clouds.
April 7th's Photo Words were: April Showers...
This isn't an "April" shower... didn't have any pictures of that, but this is a picture of my youngest cub playing soccer in the rain! It poured that day! It was in September and a little chilly, but I do remember that "rain" smell you usually smell in April. Their team won the game. My cub is the child in red.
I also had this cool picture of a rainbow over our house. Again, not in April, but a sight you often see after an "April Shower". Actually my husband and I went for a walk last night and it sprinkled some. Shortly after it stopped we saw a rainbow.
April 8th Photo Word was: Pastel
Not sure why this was so hard for me, but maybe with having BOY cubs, my life is not so "Pastelly", hee hee.
These are some cupcakes I made last year for Easter. You use Jello packets to color them. They tasted good too. I thought they were pretty.
I thought this was nice too, maybe works for "pastel". It's a picture of my church decorated for Easter. All the pretty flowers....
Today's Photo Word is: Ears
First thought of course was bunny ears. But I wanted to think outside of the box...
This is a picture of our "ears" of corn growing in our garden last year. I liked the picture of my flag in the back ground and weathered fence.
Hope you enjoyed today's photos. Thanks for stopping in and reading / looking at my photos. Hope you all have a very happy and blessed day!
