Ok. I just need to vent here for a moment. A friend of mine from work (L) met a girl on OKCupid in December. L hasn't been in a relationship before, much less with another woman, so she was hesitant at first but ended up developing quite the crush on this chick (R). They only went out 4 times over the course of four months though and there was never anything physical between them aside from a few hugs.
Now, R has decided she's not really interested, and L is acting like it's the end of the world. Literally, stalking R's twitter and even the twitter of the new guy R appears to be dating/talking to/whatever. As L's friend, I feel like I should support her, but I really just don't feel like she should be this bent out of shape about a girl she wasn't even in a relationship with. I told L back in January that she and R needed to discuss where they stood, because L wasn't sure if they were just friends, dating, or whatever. She didn't, and now she's mad that R basically said they should have had that talk long ago.
It's really annoying to be asked for advice constantly when you really don't care.... because at this point, I don't care. L is acting like R is a horrible person and is obsessing over her even though it won't help. R has clearly moved on from their pseudo-relationship and I feel L needs to as well... but how do I say that to someone who's supposed to be my friend?
Anyway, moving on... we're getting our new couch this morning. :) And last night Joe discovered he has less than a year of classes left until he has his bachelor's degree in Psychology- which means that potentially we can move out of NH in a year or so! He needs to have a job lined up in order to take Chloe with us or the court probably would not grant us permission, so, that's the goal for when he gets his degree.
Anyway, Joe told Chloe she could stay home from school today and she's absolutely going to school, so I need to go get dressed so I can take her. Happy Tuesday!
