A good garden may have some weeds." Thomas Fuller

Ever notice a beautiful lush garden brimming full of vegetables and gorgeous flowers. If you look really close you may find a few weeds. Does that diminish the garden in any way ? Of course not.

Well our garden has weeds too. The garden that makes us human that encompass our soul. We were never born to be perfect and we will never be. We will always have flaws insecurities, imperfection s. That is life.

Do we hate the garden because of the weeds or just hate the weeds? Go easy on yourself. Learn to love yourself more, yes tend your garden and get rid of the weeds in a timely manner. But love the garden that is you.

Wake up each day and embrace your good qualities. Learn to use your strength's. Present your self in the best manner possible. People won't notice the weeds . Trust me. People have their own weeds to worry about.

Think of yourself as a beautiful flower growing emerging ready to spring forth in all its glory. That little weed by your feet will not bother you because you are strong and beautiful.

What if your garden has a huge hole in it due to two furry scoundrels digging their way to China? Lol Because that's what my garden has in it right now. Love your blog and love the idea of beautiful flowers. I may just have to plant some after the demolition dogs go home. emoticon

I have been trying ot live the same idea though expressed differently. A dear friend expressed it in the sentiment of having grace with yourself.
Over time the weeds will disappear or add to the landscape that is you and your life story.

Beautiful Joanne , absolutely everyone has weeds , sometime the more the better , often I have heard that a weed is just a plant out of place. emoticon We are very critical of ourselves , more time trying to fix things that are not meant to be but admired- the scares you have earned in life are the life lines of stories to pass on to generations to come - they are what make us and individual !!

I saw a flower the other day , each special in their own way. It was together that they grew , for if one wilted for lack of sun or rain the others knelt to stem the pain, and together the Garden Bloomed to live a life time through .... emoticon Hugs Karen

You are right we need to love ourselves more and not be so critical of the minor flaws because that is what makes us all different and unique. Some of the things we may call weeds are just opportunities not explored yet. We may be able to use the removal of something that is un-desirable to made room for something amazing.
I thank you for the reminder that we all have weeds and we need to love ourselves and others despite some of the weeds.
Have a blessed day today
