NEWS FLASH! I can't DO THIS health jig without SPARK PEOPLE!
To make a long story short.... I jumped off the wagon. I didn't slip off, I JUMPED! it all started with spring break and smoking some Boston butts with my family who I haven't seen in months. As usual, we all brought food! I smoked two HUGE butts with "Slap Yo Mama-Butt Rub" The "butt" was the only cheat of that day.... I ate pork instead of chicken or fish. OOPS! Nope! Scratch that! I also ate some of my sister's chocolate peppermint trifle (and I'm on a low-carb diet).
A few days later it was a fish fry for my brother.... which I COOKED! He's a quadriplegic and couldn't do it himself. I also cooked fries and puppies. Heck, we didn't even have a veggie with that meal!
A few days later it was Easter...and to ME, celebrating holidays means FOOD (well, mostly it means food). I baked a ham, made cupcakes and potato salad. ( think I ate about 1/2 dozen of those cupcakes over about 2 days.
On the heels of Easter I entered a work week that was filled with long stressful days, a HUGE workload, tons of stress and I had no time to cook. I ate at McDonald's one night, Churches Chicken on another and at a local BBQ place on yet another night. Go figure! BY that time I'm all like, "Who cares? Eat what ya want!"
I then entered the weekend, and said to myself, "Eat everything you want this weekend for Monday you DIET!"
So.... here I am. It's Monday...my newest "Day One." I've got to get my rhythm going again. I guess the only way to lose is to just quit completely! I put up a new pic on my Spark page that kind of sums up>>>>> Success is not a straight line.
Here's to yet another, "Day One!"
