So my hubby and I had a long talk about his lack of motivation before we went to swim laps. I really think that he is starting to make some progress breaking through the pain and self doubt he's been carrying for years. I am trying to get him to be more active on spark people and build a community of support around him. It is hard for him because he is trying to lose 200 lbs and I only had to lose 80. I feel like it's getting better for him, but he needs a support system! I'll keep you posted!

    He's been with me from the beginning, he just lost a little hope recently, but I think he's back on track now. Thanks for your support Cookie!

    That's good that he's at least trying.

    My husband will not change his eating habits, he is overweight ... he's had a heart doctor (two exactly!) tell him that he should lose 100 pounds.. but no one can make him do it ... if he isn't ready.

    You can only lead by example and hope that he catches on :)
