The last time I used SparkPeople and reached my goal, I was getting ready to go on a cruise. And now I'm doing it again - my entire family is going on a Disney cruise in November to celebrate my dad's 60th - and I need to lose about 40 pounds. Thank goodness I'm not back up to my original weight; I swore I would never cross 200 pounds again, and I haven't. Woot!
So, here I am. Tracking my food and exercising everyday. So far so good. My new apartment building has a gym - not the fanciest, but it gets the job done. I'm using the Lose It iPhone app, which was a great help the last time. But, when I look back at the first time I reached my goal, it was the community here, and my blog writing that really helped me to succeed. Encouragement and accountability!
