Food Diary 4/8/13

I decided to keep a food diary. I am hoping that by writing down and tracking what I eat ( or don't eat) I can figure out why my weight won't budge.
4/8 Breakfast: Special K Cereal, 1/2 cup 2%milk, grapefriut slices, 40z prune juice
Lunch Slimfast Meal Bar, 12 almonds
Dinner: 1 cup Whole wheat spaghetti, 2 oz ground beef, marinara sauce, 3/4 cup fresh fruit, 2 cups chopped lettuce, tomato slices, and 1 tbls salad dressing

    Thank you for the encouragement and the feedback. In analyzing my food for today I am realizing I am low on protein and high on carbs. So I am going to swap out this meal for one with more protein and veggies.

    This is a good idea for anyone. Hope it leads you to discover what is holding up your weight loss.

Everyone is an individual and makes choices that are correct for that person. The spaghetti you had for dinner would be a problem for me. A serving of spaghetti is only half a cup (by the recommended serving sizes). So the extra carbs and only 2 oz of protein would leave me ravenous in only a few hours - and very susceptible to late night snacking!

You go, girl! You'll figure this out!
