Where My Head is At --

Monday, April 08, 2013

My head hasn't been here, nor can I say it's been firmly on my shoulders the last few months --

--Has it really been three months since I last blogged??

I know I'm up ten pounds; this morning is the first time in three months that I've dared stand on the scale.

I know I've been in pain: wicked, excruciating pain that I think is/was due to a hip flexor injury. It's only been within the last few days that I've felt better enough to say, hey, I want to go walking.... only to find that everything else has stiffened up.

omg

It's ok though.

Every morning is a new morning, and every morning is a new beginning, so this morning, I grabbed my bottle of Slim-Fast (an oldie but a goodie) and did not stop for fast food (my weakness), and ate my smelly, oops, aromatic, roasted garlic Lean Cuisine for lunch (no coworkers in the office, so I can have "aromatic" food. Bottles of water lined up waiting to be guzzled.

So far, so good.

That's a good many steps in the right direction. Keep it up, and you will soon see changes. I hope your injury is completely healed soon. Take care!

It's hard when you have an injury - I am still be careful about three of my own. But your plan sounds good! Stick with it! You CAN do it!

Good for you. Way to start over and just go for it. We will have set backs, but you only fail when you give up!
