The dread starts Thursday night, pizza night. Over the years, I've gotten it down to a thin crust small grocery store pizza instead of a take out large, but by the next day, I'm up a half a pound, even if I meet my calorie goal. Ok, salt. Friday is a 20 mile bike ride to mitigate dinner out that night.. and then another half pound up. Saturday is breakfast out, a 25 mile bike ride, hanging on for dear life not to eat anything before dinner and then another half pound up. Sunday, breakfast out, a mountain bike ride, (500 calories or so) and then, the final.. half pound up. 2 pounds gained.
By the way, Sparkpeople, if anyone is listening, you may want to check your bike ride calorie listings. Using my watch as a guide, I never burn anything close to what your data suggests I should. It seems like your numbers are 50% higher than they should be.
If it were up to me, I'd never do this much eating out. On the weekends, I'm on my husband's schedule, which is to eat two huge meals and nothing else. I haven't found an answer yet. If I graze all day like I would at work, I'll blow out my calories at dinner. If I hang on for dear life trying not to eat during the day, then I'm ravished and I over eat. Did I mention I hate weekends?
