Happy Monday!!! Update on my goals and life...

So I am happy to say that today I am going to kick my butt into gear and get back on track. Being sick last week really threw me off. I'm happy to say I didn't gain any weight. Im actually down a pound. So I kept one of the 4 I lost with the flu. So that's awesome. I didn't stay in the 130s though. I weighed myself this morning and I was 140.4 lbs. That's okay. I'm hoping to really buckle down this week and get to 139. For good! I've seen it twice on the scale since February, but, I just keep slipping up. I said in a status about a week ago, I had been gaining and losing the same 2 lbs all March. Well I am done. No more complacency!

I didn't reach my March Goal of 138. I'm gonna make it my April goal. I am hoping to reach 135 by May. Then I would LOVE to reach my goal weight of 130 by June! To reach all these goals I really need to stop slipping up. I seem to be taking a step forward and a step back. I was sick about half of March, so I actually did somewhat good considering. I'm hoping all the sickness is behind us and we have a healthy and progressive April. I also really need to start incorporating exercise consistently into my life. I have such a hard time with this. My husband and I have been looking at bikes online. I'm hoping to get one by the weekend, then we can go on family bike rides on the weekends. I think that will help me to stay on track on the weekends.

Oh and on a side note, I got 18 out of 31 days with my no sugar challenge for March. I know that if I didn't get sick I would have done much better. I am going to try and get as many days as possible for April as well. This may just be an on-going challenge for me. I may just continue to see how many days I can go without sugar each month. It's kinda fun for me.

Well this is where Im at right now. Im going to push to have a great week AND weekend. I'm going to weigh-in next Monday and hopefully see some good results on the scale.

    It sounds like you have a good plan and can stay with it too. I love your idea about bikes. I have been thinking about that too- more fun than walking LOL Glad to hear that you are feeling better, have a great week!

    Great job on your hard work. Revamping your goals for April is a good idea! Sticking to the no sugar challenge for the majority of the month was good and hopefully it will continue to be a part of your routine. I am also struggling with consistency. Yay for family bike rides! I've been wanting to do the same! My friend gave me an old bike over the weekend and I would have to put a lot into it to get it into working condition but it has made me start looking at bikes online too! I'd love for my husband to join us too. My daughter already has one. Here's to a great month!! emoticon
