I am getting closer to the big race! Only two more weekends and three more weeks of training and I will be running the half marathon. I am so excited!
Weeks 12 and 13 for my training have gone very well. My injury is fully healed now and I am no longer feeling any kind of pain. All the stretching, icing, and heating helped a ton!
I ended week 12 with running 20.72 miles for the week. Week 13 ended with 20.07 miles for the week. My friend and I ran 11.05 miles on Saturday morning and finished under 2 hours. That made us both extremely happy! We are trying not to aim for a time for the half but I think we both have a goal in our heads. Saturday's run felt awesome and I really could have kept going. This next weekend we have our 12 miler.
So far so good..... I just have to keep truckin along!

I am back at running after a few road blocks ... and I have to say that I always feel better after a run - "good" or "bad" run! Training at this time of year is not easy especially with the cold weather! Thanks for sharing - you keep me motivated!
