Being Kind to My Health

I started my day a bit later than I intended this morning, but I did manage to take care of my spiritual self before I went on with the rest of my day.

I hopped into the car and motored on down the highway to the Y in the next town and spent the afternoon being good to my body. I even ventured to try a few different machines from my normal routine in the hour-and-a-half I spent in the weight room. Needless to say, I was driven to iron out some of the kinks I created in the pool with some water aerobics for about an hour, as well.

I finished off the session with about 20 minutes in the hot tub, 30 minutes in the sauna, and a nice, invigorating shower to revive myself. I was pretty pleased with my accomplishments for the day and was grateful I decided to dedicate the time to help myself become a stronger, more healthy person.
