Okay, I'll admit it, I fell of the wagon yesterday. I didn't log all my nutrition, and instead of lunch I had: two thick slices of banana bread, a half a sleeve of saltines, some leftover potato, and some roast beef with onion.

A few days ago I was given the banana bread and had some of it, but then froze it, thinking that would be enough for me to stay away from it. On top of that, I did no fitness.

Well, I learned some things.
1. Retraining myself takes more effort.
2. My brain, not my stomach, is in charge of habit and mood.
3. Physical activity not only burns calories, it keeps me away from food.

Up until then I felt like I was in control, but I realize my life stressors have been distracting me the last couple of days, which probably contributed. We all have those, though, so I will have to build in time to take care of myself, I figure that certainly will help me both mentally and physically, which might even help me with other concerns I have. I haven't yet got all that in balance though, so more learning has to take place. It's okay, I figure I will keep exploring this site, and will continue to find ways to improve in all areas.

Today it did get better. It was a weird day, though, weather-wise, and we had to do without electricity until about 2 PM. We got out the camp stove and made breakfast that really ended up being a brunch, Since it was a strange day anyhow, I managed to I take some time to reflect, and kept my munchies in control. Still didn't get exercise in, but I will. I feel better.
