I reached one year with Spark People! I have now lost 17 pounds. I wasn't totally dedicated this past year, and I'm working to change that. In fact, I'm giving myself a new goal. I noticed that my longest spark streak for logging on and spinning the points wheel is 29 days. I'd like to totally surpass that! So that's my goal. Make sure I log on every day so that I can get and keep some progress going!
Over this past year I have learned not to beat myself up over bad food or exercise days (or heck, a whole week) because I'm realizing that this is not a diet, it is a lifestyle, and overall I am making much healthier choices. But I would really like to lose a lot more this year, so as I said above, I am making it a goal to make sure that I am here every day and see just how long I can take that streak out!
