Yesterday we went out for dinner before going to the theater. I planned ahead and since I had a gift certificate for Applebee's decided to look on line for the menu and decide ahead of time what I would order. They have some very good choices under 550 calories so that should have been easy. Wrong! My first mistake was to order what I think they called a perfect Margarita which was good but later I found out it was 243 calories! I followed that up with a non diet entree of rice pilaf, deep fried shrimp and broiled shrimp along with some spinach. I took home half of the rice and the broiled shrimp which helped but I would have done much better sticking with my plan. I do follow the Weight Watcher's Points Plus program so I used some of my weekly points and don't have to feel guilty about it (although I do a little!) but next time my plan is no alcohol. Since I rarely drink that isn't much of a problem and should help as well as sticking to my original plan.
