It was too windy to launch the kayaks today. It was warm enough, but just too stiff a breeze. Maybe next weekend we can get out there.. I did have a lovely lunch with my parents and my brother. I made a quick and simple veggie soup and put together fancy grilled cheese sandwiches to go with it. I put onion, mushroom, red bell pepper, ham, and two kinds of cheese on the sandwiches. They turned out pretty tasty and the soup was delicious. Came home after lunch and took the dog out for a nice long walk on a beautiful, sunny day. I was going to walk him farther than I did, but he looked a little tired, so I made the decision to head for home, instead of taking the turn to go for another 2 miles. Still 6.8 miles isn't bad. He also got some outside play time off the leash up at my parents' house, so he is a pooped puppy tonight. I will take him out for a short walk in a few minutes.
It is supposed to rain off and on all week. We can use the rain, but Cooper doesn't like to walk in it, so I am thinking my mileage might go down a little this week. That is okay, I put in nearly 120 miles last week. I will get to the gym for my workouts on Monday and Wednesday, so hopefully my mileage will still be reasonable. I am trying to decide if I should move my third gym workout of the week to Thursday, instead of Friday. If I go Friday it will have to be a short workout, but if I go Thursday I can take my time. I normally plan on going three times a week, but have really been averaging more like two times a week. (And then some weeks I go four times, it really depends on my mood.)
I have an embarrassing problem... when I runon the treadmill I have an issue with "leakage". It is only on the treadmill, and only after I have run about three miles. It is distressing though, and uncomfortable. Does anyone else have this problem, or know what I can do to minimize or prevent it from happening?
