Cancer run, for my Dad!

Hadn't counted on the Vesuvius Challenge being quite the challenge, but we managed! A 4 mile wilderness run complete 50:56 and pace time 13:00 2 secs better than race one and that is with the hill. Two weeks can really make a difference!

Great day!! This was a American Cancer Society Race, dedicated by me to my Dad.

    HUGS....thanks for your page blurb about my goin for the Relay for Life walk....I lost my dad, over all, to the effects of colon cancer some, wow, 10 years ago....and am gonna do the walk for him, and me....all that team work stuff, hahaha....WTG on your run...HUGS

  I lost my mother to cancer, and I often "think" about participating in a walk/run event. I never have done so to date. Your message is encouraging. Hopefully, it will push me over the edge and I will participate this year.
