1 month in - all is ... eh

So my first full month in on my weight loss challenge. and I am not quite where I would like to be, though it is my own fault. At the end of the first month I was only 7 lbs down but had 2 3/4" off my weist and 2" off my hips, so that made me feel good. My jeans are fitting amazing, I never thought I would be able to wear jeand that didnt give me that nasty muffin top because jeans never would fit right, either they are too but in the weist and perfect in the legs and butt or vise versa. but now my jeans fit just like I always wanted, just right all the way around and NO MUFFIN TOP!!!! say yay! YAY!
Now I did gain a few pounds during that month and then platue for a week, but I was also slacking on keeping track of my calorie intake as well as not doing my work out like i should, shoot I missed a week on my EA sports personal trainer and it yelled at me and doubled my work out...needless to say I wont be missing work outs like that again!
But I am 3 months away from my California trip and I am feeling like when the time comes I wont be at my goal, BUT and thats a big but, I know I will be feeling good about how I look and feel and thats all that matters to me :) so I say screw the goal weight, I can strive for that, but I am going to feel good and look damn good when I stand with my cousin on the beach and watch her get hitched!
