Things I have learned since I've been sick

Sunday, April 07, 2013

I've learned that as a mother when sick you carry on, now that the kids are gone I'm a man and whine! I don't even want to be around me.
I've learned that "slinging one back" is not an appropriate measure of codine / robitussin rx.
I've learned that when one thing goes haywire everything goes haywire! A bronchial irritation, still weakened back, "girly" week (which shouldn't be happening so pissed), and because of that anemia is rearing its vile head.
I've learned that even though the mind screams "get moving" the body and its exhaustion will win.

I've learned that it will pass and thanks to Mother Nature bringing me back my beloved sunshine, I am kick ass motivated and once this episode is over LOOK OUT WORLD CUZ I BACK!!!

Have a great day and kick ass out there! emoticon emoticon

Love the way you look at things!

Sorry, I have been busy since my hubby's spine surgery in Feb. Trying to catch up with your blogs now.

I'm glad you learned about the "slinging one back" thing. lol! My DH still thinks that's the way to take Nyquil. Glad you're starting to feel better.

You will be back I know! So sorry that things have piled up on you right now. Listen to your body, rest for now. There will be plenty of time to kick ass when you feel better!
