4.7 real goals

Now that I'm at my goal weight, its time to review why I had the goal in the first place. Why did I want to loose the weight? Pain control was a big part of it. Diabetes control also. Being able to keep up with little ones when the time comes for grandchildren. I just wanted to feel better, really and I do, so much so! My life has improved along with my health. I have found my calling. I am now a caregiver for the elderly and disabled. I love my work! I've been doing this version of it for 16 months. Before that, I worked as a personal assistant and biographer. I'm always happiest when I'm helping people. I'm on my way to building credit and buying the house I live in. None of it would have been possible if I still felt like I did when I began my journey.

    It is great to hear that you have reached your goal weight. Make sure you read up on how others are maintaining their weight because I hear that it can also be a challenge. I am glad to hear you also enjoy finding your calling. Sounds like you are very happy and it is wonderful to share in it. I am so happy for you! emoticon
