I went and bought some pants a few sizes bigger than what I was wearing. I was in a size 4-6, but have really only been wearing my stretchiest ones.
We stopped at a K-Mart nearby that is closing next week and I found a pair of shorts and a pair of capris, then went to the new Goodwill. I found a ton of stuff and spent about $45 on 11 pairs of shorts/pants/capris. Got a few things for work, one pair of workout pants, and some jean capris. The ones I was wearing today were a size 6 and I could wear them, but they were a little tight (used to be able to put them on without even unbuttoning them!). I ended up getting mostly 10s and 12s, with one or two 8s.
Not where I want to be, but I am working on it! I was down 2 from Thursday's weigh-in, back where I was a week ago. Hit the Y early (for a Saturday) for cycle at 8:15 and two other classes before heading back home to get ready for the girls' soccer games. Since the games were called off, I got to go shop (even though I really wanted to just stay home and work on the yard!)
Lately I've been grilling extra chicken so I have some ready for when I am too hungry/tired to wait for something to cook. Came in handy today.
lunch: 10 minute fajitas
- diced peppers and mushrooms and sauteed in olive oil with 1 diced chicken breast
- steamed broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots
- heated 3 corn tortillas
-- loaded each tortilla with baby kale and spinach, then topped with the chicken & veggies
- diced & sauteed chicken, zucchini, squash, and snap peas
- diced and steamed cabbage, green beans, broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots
