starting over

Saturday, April 06, 2013

Its been a not so great year....I lost 20 pounds through chemo, and have gain it and found some more when I was done. So now its time to start over! I started tracking things again this past week - I've been going to Power Yoga 3 days a week for about 4 months now. I've not seen the scale budge, or the clothes get a whole lot looser.

I will not let this be discouraging, I will continue ~

2015 needs to be the year that I figure it all out! Starting over gain - making myself be accountable. I am a busy lady and I like it that way most of the time. I love my life, I'm a proud wife, mom and grandmother (a very young and hip one at that!) my family is my rock!

My nutritional choices could be better - I don't need the sweets, I don't need the beer - although I love them both I have a lot of trouble keeping the sweets to a healthy moderation. I need to figure out how to manage the sweets like I do with my beer - its too easy to have "just another bite".

Alot has happened in my life over the past 7 years when I joined Sparkpeople the first time - I have trouble focusing and I have trouble following through. I so need to do things that allow me to hold myself accountable -

So I start today - I will exercise at the Y at least 3 days a week, I will give myself one of my three days off to enjoy adult beverages - ONE of my three days off to enjoy a nice dessert and ONE Of my days off to do something active with my family. Lets see how I stick to this... emoticon
