Starting to Notice.

Today was the first day since I started losing weight that I decided to try on new clothes. A friend took me to the mall, and we made a stop at Lane Bryant. After trying on the very limited amount of clothes that suited my tastes and budget, I learned that I've gone from a 30 to a 22. I even fit in a very snug 18. That makes me feel better, but I'm still aware that I'm a little less than 1/3 of the way done with this journey. It also made me realize that I've been so satisfied with buying comfortable clothes that fit for so long, that I have a lot of trouble developing my own style to make outfits. Tshirts, sweatshirts, and jeans have been the staple for far too long.

Even though I've made progress, I can't help but feel like it's not enough. I feel like I need to step up my game, but I'll never be one of those people that likes exercising. I feel that 30 minutes a day is more than enough, and anything more than that feels like torture.

All in all the day was good. Here's hoping the week is better.

Congrats on the successful shopping adventure! Isn't that feeling amazing? And I'm certain you're in store for a lot more of them in the future!

I believe that your (and my) aversion to fitness shouldn't be that big of a road block. I think 30 minutes a day is a fantastic start for you! I know you can do this!

Congrats for your hard work and your achievement so far. You should be proud of your self. Don't worry about how far you still has to go. Important thing is you've mad so far and lost lots of weight. Be positive is the way to go.

as you continue to work out 30 minutes a day, you can make that enough -- watch your heart rate, mix it up so your body doesn't expect what is coming next and know that something is always better than nothing!

So the size of you sounds like it has really changed! That is just awesome!! I'm not a fasion maven either, but I like how my clothes are fitting! Enjoy that too!
