As of 7:00 PM I have had a controlled eating day! First in a l-o-n-g time.

Yes, I know the evening and all night are still ahead of me.
I feel like Willie Makeit author of "Fifty Yards to the Outhouse." emoticon

Breakfast and lunch went as planned.
But, I had not planned on Chinese for dinner. I could not resist when I bought that for my husband.

I limited myself to Vegetable soup and one Shrimp Roll. Even after that I was not over the 2300 mg of sodium. Close, but not over!

If I can control myself and eat only the planned snack foods left for this evening, my calories will be under 1900. I am quite happy with that. I weigh 250 so even at 1900 cal. I can lose a lb. a week. For activities I do water aerobics at least 3X a week and I am busy doing chores and also caregiving at home. Each day is quite full.

I need to buy fresh fruits. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon I am all out! I have fresh vegetables and plenty of frozen ones.

    Wow this is great..I know the feeling..I too have finally had a day of 1200 calories..I challenged myself yesterday...so this past week had one bad night....I believe reading a lot inspirational quotes and stating positive things on a tread has really started moving the mind in the right direction.

Remember, if you make a mistake, AND WE ALL DO, the MOST important thing is to forgive yourself and just move on!!! Imagine if we all quit our jobs bc we made a mistake or gave our children up bc we made a mistake with them-- NO, of course not. So, just do your best and learn from it, and ask yourself what can I do better next time. Look for swaps you can make that are healthier choices and keep up that moving!! YAY!!!!

    emoticon emoticon emoticon I'm proud of you for staying within your calorie range especially with having Chinese. When I have Chinese, I do not exercise self-control and totally blow my day's calories. Oh, I cut back on how much I eat, but I still eat too much. sigh. GOOD FOR YOU!

    So jealous of you! I'm over for my calories for today! Out for dinner with daughter, her hubby & granddaughter. My granddaughter & I split an order of fish & chips (order comes with 2 pces of fish) left over 1/2 of the fries but had a Ceaser salad and 1/2 pce of garlic bread with cheese. So ended up with almost 1600 for the day. I need to stop eating out always order things not good for my plan emoticon I try to do the treadmill & my kettle bell basic DVD every other day along with some general stretches & do stair climbing (just use stairs in house up & down) on off days. Plus if, I'm in town I do mall walking. I love berries & apples & am always snacking on peppers/celery/snow peas & green beans. Had to cut way back on my tomatoes--rheumatologist said not good for my arthritis. I'll just keep plodding along
