especially if it's home-grown produce! :D I picked up a magazine that had an article about this. Thankfully some of the info is also available online. This particular article also included cabbage, which wasn't in the magazine article. Cabbage can require great amounts of pesticide to keep cabbage moths away. Grow it indoors might be a great and much safer alternative. :) The magazine article also included garlic and white potatoes, though any variety will sprout from the "eyes".
Around here, fresh produce can cost the most money, even though we live in Canada's best farm country. It's great to be able to cut costs and eat more healthy foods!
