LIFE IS HARD

I thought I was starting to get my life back on track and I was eliminating people that was being negative and not respecting me. Then I start to go down hill again, and start to beat myself down and listen to them haters, and am back in that depression stage and feel like I am worth nothing!

    You were on the right track to eliminate the negative people, but it is very easy to slip back into what we have always done or known. If you need help making the separation from these people, please get it. And know that there are a whole bunch of Sparkers who think you are pretty special!

    We are all special, one of a kind people. We are different for a reason. It would be boring if we all thought and acted alike. You have to learn to have faith in yourself and not worry about what others think. What do you think of yourself? What are the things you like? It is your life and it is up to you to make of it what you will. You can duck under heavy criticism or you can come up and be you. Go inside and pull that strength out. Find things that you enjoy and really live in life and don't just pass through it.

    I have been fighting depression on and off for years. That's when I start exercising more and finding new things for me to do. When it gets really bad, then it's back to the doctor.

    I find that exercise helps me. Would you be able to fit in a good walk like maybe twenty minutes or so. Today would be a great day for a walk. Take some deep breaths and look for the sprouting daffodils. Look up at the trees too they are all sprouting. Things are coming to life this spring. Give it a try.

    You are worth so much more than those negative people. They are in your life for one reason only and that's to sabotage your goals. Do not listen to them. You are worth more than they are if they're trying to undermine what you want to accomplish. Yes, life is hard but the good news is, we are given the right to make choices in our lives and we can choose to be happy and healthy. I choose that for you and I hope you can choose that for yourself too. HUGS!

    those people are like the voices that tell you to eat no spark food I know its hard but work on turning those voices off they pick at you because they are not happy with them selves or feel bad because you are trying to improve your life style it makes them feel good to bring you down Always remember that you are worth the effort

    I went down that road years ago. It's like anything else. You just have to continue to want it and keep after it. You also have to learn to find your voice and speak up. That was the hardest part for me. I was one of those "yes" people.
I was lucky enough to take a course when I became supervisor that was called "dealing with difficult people". It changed my life and gave me the courage to speak up and confront those kind of people. I can easily turn my back and walk away. No is one of the top words in my vocbabulary. You can do this. Just keep at it. Don't give your power to anyone. Confront them. Even it is to just tell them they will not talk/treat you that way. You will be surprised how much easier it gets with some practice. (just like the exercise and the food journals.

    Those are just your thoughts. They come and go. You don't need to criticize yourself because you have aches and pains that come and go, no? The thoughts probably really don't make any real difference in what you need to do next. Get involved in planning good meals and some exercise, straighten up the house, do something you enjoy. Just do the good things for yourself anyway and try to divert your thoughts to concentrating on what you're doing at the moment. The air around you is the same, the weather is the same, your surroundings are the same; these are all good things that show your real stability. Your thoughts can whirl around and change, but you are basically still just here, living and breathing and for this moment, it's enough!
