Following the steps of "Dietgirl", I'm going back to posting my weekly progress:
Current Weight: 206 lbs
Weight Last Week: 204 lbs
Weight Lost since Last Week: (+2 lbs) :(
Goal Weight: 170 lbs
Weight Left to Lose: 36 lbs
Thank you to all of you who encouraged me this past week, after my last blog about my mood. I feel much better emotionally, and have worked out four times this week, including gym workouts, yoga class, and a good walk in the park.
Given the weight gain, I've been reflecting on my food this week. I've been blogging my food and am consistently within my calorie range, but I am wondering about the "hidden" calories I may be missing. This week I'm going to look at the sugar in my coffee, the dressing on my salad, and see if I can cut a few more.
On the bright side, I had weighed myself mid-week and I was 207.4 pounds, so I guess maybe this is improvement? What bothers me the most is this consistent weight gain....since November 2012 I have gained 20 lbs and it keeps going up. I totally own the fact that I wasn't eating properly and was skipping the gym. But I am really working to halt the climb now and I'm petrified all my hard work two years ago is being erased. But I know what thinner feels like (I was 179 lbs two years ago and a comfortable size 10/12) and so I know my body can get back there.
I'm doing the right things. I need to keep doing them. And with that in mind - I move onward with my day!
