Will be 30 days soda free. My goals are wonderful, but I think I need a new system for creating realistic goals for myself.
I absolutely want to work my way up to a Whole 30 AND a Power 90 stretch together, but oi. Together right now it's kind of overwhelming. I was reading a favorite fitness website of mine that gave some suggestions on achievable goal setting.
Set your goals
Make a plan
Get to work
Stick to it
Goal: No soda for 30 days
Plan: Get rid of the sweetened beverages. Drink at least two bottles of water per day. Minimum. Aim for four (4) bottles. Track on start page.
Goal: Muscle Madness workout for 1 month.
Plan: write out actual exercises for every day, put into planner, for a month.
Start Monday 4/8/13
My wedding dress is strapless, so my focus areas are my arms, back and the dreaded muffin top. Therefore, my exercises are going to consist of: Tricep dips, pushups and mountain climbers. Yikes. Thankfully it's a gradual program going from 6 dips, 4 pushups and 8 mountain climbers (all x2) on the 8th to 12 tricep dips, 12 pushups and 25 mountain climbers (all x3) on May 9th.
Everything is set into my planner, in ink, so there's no way I can pretend I didn't see that it needs to be done!
Oh, I'm heading into day 11/30 on the no soda month too! I got this.
