can scream yep i want a darn candy bar right this second..well ive wanted one all night actually. ive been good and keep thinking im eating horrible but in fact im below what the counter says i should be and actually saying before is im not sure.

but so far all is ok i just hope i can see some instant results so it motivates ok well thats it i just wanted to pop on and say hi and complain about needing a darn candy bar.

    I use the Spark refrigerator bran muffin recipe and add cocoa. Cocoa is pretty low cal added where you can.

    noraspat, a sparker, counts out so many chocolate chips to put on a banana for her hubby for a dessert in the micro.. maybe you could count out so many and line them up on a piece of fruit or a plate,, pull those big girl panties on and smile as you keep in mind that those chips do not stay on the hips like a snickers..

    I understand craving stuff. I'm fighting an urge for chips and dip in the worst way right now.

    Look for a healthy substitution if possible. Would a granola bar with chocolate work? Just watch your labels because some granola bars can be worse than the actual candy bar. But if you find the right one, it will give you a boost of fiber (which will help fill you up) and soothe your sweet tooth. One thing that always worked for me with a sweet craving was Viactiv chocolates. They're low calorie,sweet and have the added bonus of extra calcium, which I need because I don't drink milk.

    If it just has to be a candy bar and nothing else will do, work it into your meal plan. Eat a little lighter through the day to free up some calories. Eat a fun-size candy bar rather than the regular size or split a regular one with a friend.

    Here's a healthy recipe that tastes like boxed chocolates. It counts as a milk serving and the cocoa has antioxidents.

    1 cup nonfat milk (any milk is okay)
    1 TBSP Hershey's Cocoa (brown can in baking aisle)
    1 TBSP Splenda, optional
    1 tsp vanilla extract, or more
    1 tsp extract of your choice, or more. Coconut, orange and peppermint are good.

    Heat milk, optional. Put all ingredients in blender or use hand blender. Enjoy.

    Cocoa won't mix with a spoon. The volume increases the longer it's blended.

    Serving size is 1.
